Erando
Built in the Serpan Mountains, Erando overlooks the great pass and river valley that the Elves used at one point many ages ago, to channel their armies into the lands occupied by humans to meet them on the field of battle. The people of Erando are a hardy lot, scratching a living from both the mountain and the valley below their capital.
- Murtrone – Called the Terraced City, Murtrone is built upon a rocky jetty found half way up the Serpan Mountains. Many who view the dark stoned city can sense the sacrifice the people who lived there ages ago gave during the fight against the Elves. The city was built upon the old military outpost that was once held by the Elves and in some ways that history can be seen in the orderly lay out of the stone buildings along the broad causeways and streets that are set up in a grid fashion with the Tronando Keep at its center and is home to the grand prince and his family.
- Sorrow's Point – Sorrow’s Point is so named for the thousands of souls that lost their life during a long forgotten battle between the Elves and the barbarian humans before their rise. The story goes that the village of humans, mostly women and children were rounded up while the men were away fighting a nearby clan for rights to fertile farmland far to the south. The women and children, surrounded by elfish guards were corralled upon a rock that juttied from the short plateau. The cruel elven guard captain, driven mad by the wailing and sobs by both mother and babe as they waited for the next action, ordered her fellow guards to push the sobbing, red eyed group towards the edge with the tip of their spears into the backs of mothers and into the sides of babes as they pushed them off the edge. When the men came back through the Mianto Pass, triumphant in battle, they came across their families bloodied and dashed upon the rocks. It is said that on a clear night, with a still air, their howls of pure unadulterated sorrow can be heard throughout valley.
- Mianto Pass – For many an age the Mianto Pass has been the single trade route into the Eransom river valley. Whoever has held this pass in the past has been able to control the valley. Since Murtrone was built nearly 3,000 years ago, Humans have become the keepers of this pass.
