Mine workers from the Reosme Gem Mines have reported a series of strange events in the mountains behind the mine. They report the sound of pick axes, hammers, and rock slides, indicating that some sort of digging or mining operation has begun in the mountains. Further reports tell of caravans of human slaves hauling down large quantities of dirt and rock down from the mountain and hauling building supplies back up. Rumor has it the slaves, who appear to have scars on their throats indicating that the vocal cords have been cut, are being escorted by Hssondi warriors…
